DOBERMANS
Why a Doberman
Our Dobermans are
Healthy, Beautiful,
easily Trained, and
make wonderful
Companions.

For as long as I can remember I have been in love with this breed. I worked besid K-9 trainers in my
hometown while growing up, and every once in a while a Doberman would come in for training with
the Shepherds and Hounds. I wanted to take every Doberman home with me.
It took me years but I finally was able to break into the Doberman world. What I found was not just
one breed of Doberman but what seemed to be many. These different breeds are called TYPES of
Doberman; such as American bred, European bred, German bred, Backyard bred, etc... Each having a
different body type, health issues and temperament.
I am in LOVE with Dobermans and will continually strive to improve this beautiful breed. My
dogs come from wonderful kennels with long standing Health, Beauty and wonderful
Temperaments. I have not bred hundreds of litters, I have not shown dogs my entire life and there
are still things I learn every day. I am not a large breeding facility. I never plan to be a big breeder. I
like being able to pay one on one attention to all of my dogs. I like having bonding time with every
single puppy I send out to you.
Puppy Buying Advice (take it , or leave it :)
When looking for your perfect companion be concious that every breeder thinks their dogs are the
best (I would be lying if I said I wasn’t one of them :) Try not to give in to that adorable Doberman
puppy in the pet shop window or buy a puppy from a back yard breeder, or even buy a puppy
from a larger breeder that won’t give you a health guarantee on the puppy. Do your homework on
the breed. This breed has genetic diseases that need to be screened for, it is one of the breeds that is
more susceptible to Parvo, some of the Dilutes (fawns-blues) may get skin acne/hair loss or other
skin problems. The White Doberman, although it has it’s exotic draws should be avoided.
Visit the DPCA for more information on this wonderful breed. I strongly encourage all future
Doberman owners to read their Public Education resource.
Putting a Doberman in my home was one of the best decisions I have ever made. A well bred
Doberman is extraordinary and I can’t say a single bad thing about them. My Dobermans have
saved my life, saved my children’s lives, and have been more than pets in my home; they are
family.
I have NO litters planned for 2009.
Mariah's Bianca of Amon-Re (Lyric)
This girl is so neat. She is GORGEOUS GORGEOUS!
wow. She is still young and does the puppiest of things
sometimes, she can make anyone laugh. :) She is missing a
tooth (due to a TENNIS BALL accident) and cannot be
shown. Instead she is going to be our future Obedience trail
star! :) She is so fun and so loyal. She learns very quickly
and is working her way to her CD, then her CDX.
Thank you Mariah Dobermans for this girl, I am VERY
grateful and love her every day.
Star Chrisco I (Star)
Star was a rescue Dobie that we have had for a long
time now. She was never able to be placed in a home
due to her age and medical problems, so she found her
last home here at the canine estates rescue with us. It
didn't take long for her to become a part of our family.
The picture above is of her and her first owner who
loved her as much as we loved her.
Her health was going downhill so fast and was in so
much pain this month that I finally brought her in to be
put down. That was one of the hardest things I have
ever had to do.
Star I love you, thank you for all the wonderful
snuggles, being my long car ride companion, and
everything you gave to my family in the time that you
spent with us. You were one of the greats. Thank you.
I miss you like crazy, not a day goes by that I don't
think of you Star.

Amon-Re's Pink
Pink is Lyrics daughter. She is such a great girl!
Pink is the best kid dog I have ever seen. She has
phenomenal patience. She is great at keeping the
farms squirrel population in the trees where they
belong. She is the property "guard" and patrols the
fence lines so well you would thing she was trained
to do it. :) We love our pink!
